My brothers and sisters. I want to share with you my testimony. I give my witness of the Book of Mormon, which the second greatest gift of God. Without it, we would not know the most precious and matchless gift, who is Jesus Christ. I share the words of the prophet Mormon from this sacred book, in Mormon 8:35, who said:
“Behold, I speak unto you as if ye were present, and yet ye are not. But behold, Jesus Christ hath shown you unto me, and I know your doing”

Mormon, in this scripture, is speaking to us. He saw our day, and so did all the prophets in this book. They saw the trials, and challenges and burdens that would come our way. Because of the undying and perfect love that our Heavenly Father has for us, he made it possible through the great prophet, Joseph Smith, to translate it by the gift and power of God from golden plates written in ancient language. The Book of Mormon was brought forth for all of God’s children so that we may know where we must search to find peace, which is in Jesus Christ. It helps us find the light when we have fears and questions and helps us know who we can turn to.
I invite you and challenge you, if you haven’t already been doing this, to read it every day and if you have, please, please keep reading it. Make it a pillar in your life. I promise blessings poured upon your heads as You will know who to find strength. It is Another Witness of He who is the Light and Life of the World. I know this is true. I know it, and I know God knows it, and I can’t deny it. I love you all, and I know most importantly, your Father in Heaven loves you more than we can even imagine. He lives, and I know our Redeemer lives, and I say these things in the name of our Savior, amen.
