I would like to bear my testimony to all of you. As I have been here at the MTC, I have received so many blessings during my time here studying and preparing to go out into the field where I can serve my Heavenly Father and be a representative of my savior, Jesus Christ. I love them so much, and I have felt their love in my life. After visiting the temple, I knelt down and prayed to my Heavenly Father. I remembered a talk by Apostle Hugh B. Brown where he was talking in a devotional at BYU many years ago. It was titled, “Father, are you there”, where he speaks about how we should pray to him, almost as if we were having a conversation with one another and how sometimes, when times get a little hard and even feeling a little down, we should pray to him. As I knelt down, and folded my arms, I had asked to my Father in Heaven, “My dear Heavenly Father, are you there?” Almost like a warm blanket was put over me, I felt this peace, and joy, and unimaginable love comfort me, as my eyes started to water, and broke out a smile. Brothers and Sisters, I testify unto you, that Heavenly Father, loves us so very dearly. He wants us to be happy, and to experience joy and his love in this life. When times get hard, and when you feel like it might almost feel like there is a dark cloud forming around you, pray with a sincere heart, with true intention, and ask if our Father in Heaven is there. I promise you that you will receive and answer and the day that seems almost dark will brighten up like the sun shines, and you will know how much, Heavenly Father love you. I know the Book of Mormon is True. I have prayed and felt the Holy Ghost speak quietly that this is true with warmth. That our loving Heavenly Father sent his only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to live and die for us, so that we may once again, come to live with him and our families for all eternity in the Celestial Kingdom. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and through him, the Gospel of Jesus Christ has once again been restored on this earth and that we have a living prophet who receive revelations from God, our Heavenly Father, so that we may get through these latter Days. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior, my brother, and my Redeemer, that he had died so that we may be clean, and through him, live with our Father again. I testify, that I have been called a missionary of Christ, so that I can share this message to those who don’t know of this happiness and joy and love of our Heavenly Father, so they may be able to experience this truth. That there are those out there waiting for me, wanting to know the truth, and with this truth, be saved. 3 Nephi 5:13 “Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they may have everlasting life.” I say this humbly, in the Holy and Sacred name, Jesus the Christ, our savior, Amen.
